Hey, I'm Akshay.
I'm a developer who got tired of just reading about things and started building them instead. Not because I have it all figured out—but because I wanted to see what actually happens when you try.
TheFieldNotes is where I document that process. Every post is a real experiment: what I built, what worked, what broke, and what I'd do differently next time. No polished success stories. Just honest field notes.
Right now, I spend most of my time exploring local AI, web apps, hardware experiments, and whatever else catches my curiosity that week. The tools change, but the approach doesn't—build it, test it, and write about it honestly.
I also document these experiments on YouTube—same honesty, different format. If you prefer watching over reading, you'll find me there too.
"If something I built helped you—or broke in an interesting way—I'd genuinely like to know."
